Wayfarer sailing in Holland is growing with an increasing coherence between the Wayfarer sailors and an exciting programme of events. In 2001 NedWa held her first ever National Wayfarer Championships, an event repeated in the years there after.
As always, the Dutch welcome overseas visitors to their cruising and racing events. We had a number of sailors from other countries who took part in our national championships and in the international cruising events. We hope for more this year.
Though we are aware of the International nature of the Wayfarer class our focus lies with our Dutch content. The English content is not as complete as we would like but we do try, as a service for our many friends abroad.
